As both a strategist and community manager, I redefined Pureology's & Mizani's presence on social through community-driven and video-first content strategies. I tapped into my passion for data analytics and social listening, and deep knowledge of the creator space to bring humanity to branded social media, and authentically connect with its audience.

I noticed the brand's social presence was lacking content to natively and authentically connect with the community. To proactively respond to the content deficit, I conceptualized, shot, and edited video-first content (shown above) in my own home and at photoshoots behind the scenes.

I pitched a new content strategy plan and convinced my department and the Head of Brands of the importance of a social-first shoot to further help with the content deficit.

I led the overall production of the two social-first shoots, which included directing two teams. I owned the project from pre-production and the development of storyboards to photography, filmmaking, and post-production.
